Benjamin Nadler of Princeton and Fernando Azcona of South Brunswick were busted inside Skippack Pharmacy, 4118 Skippack Pike, after a dramatic pre-dawn break-in at 2:17 a.m. on Monday, March 4, authorities said.
The pharmacy owner spotted them live on surveillance cameras and called PSP Skippack. When troopers arrived, they found a getaway car with its lights on in a nearby parking lot. That’s when Nadler walked up—seemingly unaware his plan had just crumbled. Troopers stopped him, and after an incriminating slip of the tongue, he was cuffed on the spot, police said.
As troopers were securing Nadler, Azcona made a run for it—bolting out of the pharmacy toward State Route 113. His escape didn’t last long. Police chased him down and took him into custody.
Both suspects were found with sealed prescription bottles and medications. In their car, officers spotted even more stolen prescriptions—and a hammer, likely used in the break-in. Their vehicle was seized and searched, uncovering even more unprescribed drugs, state police said.
Now, Nadler and Azcona are sitting behind bars at Montgomery County Correctional Facility, each charged with burglary and related offenses.
